Had a nice lunch with a friend (couple beers) dinner with some friends (few more beers) then my wife asked me what I wanted to do tonight. I thought of heading to a bar or restaurant, but came up with a different idea.
Since I'm losing my beloved 5d and Wide Angle to my brother this upcoming weekend for months, I decided to take some night shots in DC. Also factoring in to the equation is that I just received my third replacement wired remote (yes I lose them and lens caps all the time) so it's all a go. I grabbed a flask of Whiskey I treated my self to today (LaPhroaig 10 year), tripod..camera and off we went.
I was happy I did. I went to the National Cathedral and it was a cloudy night. The lights of the city and the plane warning lights on the structure made for some great natural effects. I didn't even look at them yet, but expect a flood in the next couple of hours.

I see you posted some stuff. I have like 600 deviations to catch up on, but I will do so!
